To recognize this year’s top ICCA Data Provider, ICCA announced that Ms. Noemí Rosell, Assistant to the Director of the Barcelona Convention Bureau has been chosen as “Hotleader of the Year 2011”.
The winner was announced at the closing session of the record-breaking 50th ICCA Congress in Leipzig, Germany, and will receive a certificate, together with a sum of €500 to be put against an ICCA product or event of her choice within 24 months of winning the award.
As Ms. Noemí Rosell was not present at the ICCA Congress to accept her award in person, she will receive it at the ICCA stand during this year’s EIBTM in Barcelona.
“Ms. Noemí Rosell has been a constant source of good quality information that exceeds the boundaries of the city of Barcelona. Because of her efforts, the ICCA Database offers improved data for other ICCA members. Noemí’s contribution has helped to maintain ICCA Association Database as the world’s best source of information on international association events”, said Marco van Itterzon, Director Research at ICCA.
The continued high quality and quantity of the ICCA Association Database is the result of a combined “behind the scenes” effort of ICCA member staff and the ICCA Research Department. ICCA depends for a large part on information sent in by ICCA members (the leading suppliers in the international meetings industry) who are sharing information on events they have recently been involved in. ICCA’s research team each year presents a “Hotleader of the Year Award” to the individual amongst the ICCA members who provided the most accurate data and backgrond information.
