Singapore – In conjunction with the opening of MAX Atria @ Singapore EXPO – Singapore’s first MICE venue awarded the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Green Mark Platinum award – TEDxSingapore: Inspiring Ideas To The Max makes its debut April 3, 2012. The inaugural collaboration also marks TEDxSingapore’s third anniversary.

Curated by the TEDxSingapore team led by Founding Curator Dave Lim, the event is entirely community created to engage and inspire participants seeking to connect and share a diversity of ideas. A panel of seven speakers will initiate the conversation and exchanges on topics spanning environmental and sustainability issues and measures.

“With dedicated greening and sustainable initiatives incorporated at the concept stage, it is fitting that MAX Atria is the venue for this collaborative platform”, said Singex Chief Executive Officer Aloysius Arlando. ”We are confident it will be a catalyst to an invigorating exchange between the distinguished speakers and the community that is passionate about such issues”.
The panel includes Scott D. Anthony, Masami Sato, Thaddeus Lawrence, Jason Pomeroy, Michael Totten, Ananda Avalokita and Zann Huizhen Huang. From an architectural standpoint to impactful lifestyle choices, participants will also be engaged by topics highlighting how environmentally sustainable design and greening initiatives create an exceptional event experience for organisers and delegates.
