ICCA will be the first association to use the new SpotMe app for its annual ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme. The new SpotMe app was recently launched at IMEX in Frankfurt.

The ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme, taking place 13-16 June and bringing 132 delegates from 37 countries from every continent worldwide to Bregenz (Austria), will be the first event where delegates can use the app on their own smartphone. Delegates without a smartphone can borrow an iPod throughout the event to use the app.

“We are really excited to take these first steps with our new app in the international association meetings industry together with ICCA, who has always excelled at using SpotMe to advance its meeting architecture.” — Roger Meier, SpotMe

SpotMe’s core networking capabilities used to be facilitated with a proprietary SpotMe hardware device which had to be picked up by all delegates upon registration for the event. The new SpotMe app builds upon past success and takes the ICCA Programme to the next level.

The new SpotMe app and their approach to meetings is unique in the following ways:

1. Always used.

100% adoption of the app at all events. SpotMe has the flexibility to integrate both personal and SpotMe-supplied devices no matter how big the event.

2. Always usable.

User-centric and efficient. Background updates and a fully integrated interface that maximizes usability and screen real estate, while exposing the most relevant information right on the home page.

3. Always on.

Reliable and real-time, with or without the Internet. SpotMe’s proprietary network of cloud and onsite servers, delivers responsive, live access to content and interactivity.

4. Always there.

SpotMe takes great pride and ownership in every event. They provide onsite meeting architects and technical support addressing any unexpected issues and supporting their clients and meeting participants well past checkout.

The ICCA Research, Sales & Marketing Programme has a custom-made education programme, with immediate business opportunities and personal advice on real work challenges. It is an ideal event for junior to mid-level managers and client-facing executives from venues, destination marketing organisations, and PCOs. The ICCA Programme is still open for last-minute registration. Please visit http://www.iccaworld.com/dbs/programme2012/dyncat.cfm?catid=xxregistrationxx for details.
