Three months before the event, La Cumbre, The Americas’ Travel Industry Summit has confirmed Colombia’s presence on the exhibition floor. This marks the first time that Colombia participates in La Cumbre, with a pavilion spearheaded by ProExport Colombia that including other Colombian organizations and destinations.

“We feel extremely honored to have Colombia on the exhibition floor for the first time and to have been chosen as part of the country’s strategy to reach its priority markets,” stated Gastón Isoldi, Director of the Event.

The organizer has also confirmed they have now sold 95% of the exhibition floor, which to date represents the best sales year in the last 8 years. Other destinations represented are: Bahamas, Brazil, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Sint Maarten, United States, and the US Virgin Islands.

“After a few transitional years in which we reformulated the event by adding the MICE and business travel segments, opening the exhibition floor to destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean and inviting buyers from the United States, Europe and Asia, the event’s final concept was presented last year and was naturally well received by all delegates, who were able to confirm the soundness of said value proposition.” stated Isoldi.
