Kenes Group announces its disinvestment as a shareholder in Multiwebcast, Canada (known as the Multilearning Group) in order to retain our independence in the choice of suppliers for Kenes clients.

Kenes International and Multiwebcast have been trusted client and supplier for a number of years, and are enthusiastic about each company’s professional competence.

Multiwebcast, having being in the forefront of webcasting development for medical congresses, served Kenes clients to the satisfaction of all concerned. Kenes Group being interested in understanding innovative ideas in E-learning and Educational Webcasting, took a minority share in Multiwebcast Inc in 2010, in order to be able to offer top level technical solutions and to further support the company’s development and expertise building. Since then webcasting and quality webcasting solutions are being offered by a growing number of suppliers worldwide.

Kenes Group and its operational companies place great value in being independent and unbiased when presenting technical and webcasting options to clients. Since the co-ownership of Multiwebcast Inc, offering a specific format of webcasting and E-learning could potentially hamper an unbiased approach, it was mutually agreed to end the Kenes Group legal and financial interest in Multiwebcast. Multiwebcast will remain one of the preferred suppliers of Kenes Group and its operational teams worldwide, in the appreciation of the Multiwebcast expertise and skills.
