About how to become a popular blogger, how to fight with aggression in Internet and how to publish others photos on your blog – Blog Forum Gdańsk already finished.
Blog Forum Gdańsk – 48 hours of blogger’s feast, 200 Polish and foreign bloggers and vloggers, 66 guests and almost 135 000 Internet users on-line. For two days PGE ARENA (Gdansk brand new football stadium) became a platform of blogger’s experiences exchange.
This year’s leading subject during Blog Forum Gdansk was “Blogging in practice”. Among guests there were famous Polish journalists and people related to culture and education: Maria Czubaszek, Edwin Bendyk, Monika Jaruzelska, Natalia Hatalska, Karolina Korwin-Piotrowska, Wieslaw Godzic and a lead of Polish blogers: Maciej “Mediafun” Debski, Jakub “Dem” Debski, Tomek Tomczyk, Pawel Tkaczyk and many others. There were also foreign guests – William Echikson with his lecture “Bloggers ultimateguide to impact the future” and John Biggs who explained Polish bloggers how to deliver content from their blog outside Poland.
During the event bloggers and invited guests talked about the most up-to-date topic in bloggers world: how relationship between bloggers and traditional media are turning out, why vlogers don’t read blogs and at the same time bloggers don’t watch vlogs, is the Internet the biggest rental shop in the world and if the blog can become a way to live, etc. Between presentations bloggers had an opportunity to talk to other guests, watch movies and clips at PGE ARENA. Blog Forum organizers wanted show all PGE ARENA functionalities and they organized a football match for delegates. It was fun!
In the end “Blog of Gdańsk 2012” prizes were given (for the best blog about Gdansk or written by inhabitant of Gdansk). The winners were: Malgorzata Dziegielewska (Pierzczywanilia.blogspot.com) and Paulina Rudnicka blog (kapuczina.blogspot.pl). Three others blogs were distinguished by the Jury: Bartosz Cicharski (Gdansk z dolu), Sylwia Kubrynska (Najlepszy blog na świecie) and Anna Matusewicz together with Katarzyna Wilczek for (Misja K.S.I.Ą.Ż.K.A).
Gdansk Convention Bureau was present on Blog Forum Gdansk 2012 introducing new GCBeVENT app. Bloggers and guests could use new event app, where they found all information of the Forum (agenda, lectures, sessions, etc).
Organizers Blog Forum Gdansk 2012 that was held on 13-14.10. 2012 were Mayor’s Bureau of City Promotion in City Hall of Gdansk and City Cultural Institute.
