London & Partners the official promotional organisations and convention bureau for London are inviting IMEX America visitors to ‘win a wheel’ of amazing London experiences in one prize.

To showcase the vast range of new events, hotels and venues which are opening in London in late 2012 and throughout 2013, London & Partners have created a special View-Master® show reel. The retro 3D image display (which many of us will remember from our childhoods) will be given out free on the London & Partners booth #1011 to IMEX visitors between the 9 – 11th October 2012.

The showreels display seven striking images which range from a Virgin Atlantic plane flying across a London skyline,  Beefeaters standing guard at the Tower of London, a delicious afternoon tea at the London InterContinental Park Lane and even an amazing bird’s eye view of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park which will open in July of next year.  Not only will the View-Master® be a nice free memento of London but every person to collect a View-Master® will be entered in to a competition to win the entire wheel! The ‘win a wheel’ dream trip will include:

2 x Economy return flights courtesy of Virgin Atlantic from any US destination to London

Three nights in one of the elegant new London Executive Rooms and access to the exclusive Club InterContinental, with dramatic views over the neighbouring Royal Parks and London Skyline

2 x royal passes from Historic Royal Palaces giving admission to the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace and the Banqueting House.

Dinner at Gaucho 02 where you will receive a glass of champagne on arrival and their Signature menu for 4 people.

2 x tickets to the stunning The View from The Shard which offers spectacular 360-degree views of the city from 800ft above ground.

Relive the London2012 Games with an exclusive VIP tour of the future Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and trip up  the ArcelorMittal Orbit – the UK’s tallest sculpture –for uninterrupted views of London.

As well as the ‘Win the wheel’ competition London’s official convention bureau and event solutions service will be  launching the b2b arm of the new global campaign at IMEX America entitled ‘London: Now See it for yourself’.

The campaign will highlight a range of new venues which will open in late 2012 and 2013 and includes the Queen  Elizabeth Olympic Park itself – which opens in July 2013 – and will offer corporate event planners a chance to host their own events in the iconic 2012 venues such as the Velodrome, the Aquatics Centre and even in the Olympic Stadium. Other impressive venues to open in 2013 include the colossal Shard of Glass venue which includes a stunning visitor attraction called ‘The View from the Shard’ situated just above the Shangri-La Hotel London  all of which boast views from Europe’s tallest building.

Chris FJ Lynn, Sales & Marketing Director, North American & Emerging Markets said:

“This competition is really an once-in-a-lifetime prize which will see them having the very best of what London has to offer. The flights, the hotel and all the access to brand new venues such as the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and The View from The Shard are all the crème de la crème of what London has to offer – we can’t wait to give away the free View-Masters so people can take a little bit of London away with them and hopefully inspire them to come and truly see London for themselves!”
