Gdańsk Convention Bureau for children

This year Gdansk Convention Bureau, that represents Gdansk & Region (north of Poland), not only is exhibiting at EIBTM show in Barcelona but also running a project dedicated to children.

“Every year we end show with so many nice promotional gifts left. Since the show is right before Christmas time we would like to encourage all exhibitors to bring few gifts to Gdansk stand i552. All gifts we gather will be donated to the chosen local children’s home in Barcelona” – says Marta Wisniewska, Gdansk Convention Bureau Coordinator.

Not only promotional gifts will be given to children. Gdansk Convention Bureau bought school supplies like backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, etc. They informed EIBTM team about it and explained the project they want to run during the show. EIBTM supported the idea right away and decided to double the amount GCB donated. EIBTM will deliver some puzzles, games for “logic” learning , games for “memory” learning , boardgames: Trivial, pictionary, etc. All the gifts brought to Gdansk stand will be donated to the FUNDACIÓ ALDEES INFANTILS SOS CATALUNYA – Aldea Infantil de Sant Feliu de Codines in Barcelona.

“We invite all exhibitors to bring little gifts for children, have a cup of coffee at our stand and in the meantime make their own Christmas Bauble for kids.. We’ll be waiting at stand i552 with baubles, glitter and ornaments for everyone willing to support us” – adds Anna Gorska, Gdansk Convention Bureau CEO.

During the show all exhibitors and visitors will be informed about the CSR activity through sustainability press release, news alert and exhibitor communications and the EIBTM official website.
