Serbia Convention Bureau continues with the well-established practice of introducing innovations in digital marketing applied to MICE industry.
Exclusively, at the EIBTM fair, Serbia Convention Bureau is announcing the campaign for the year 2013, which will be about synergy of sustainability, innovation and MICE. In partnership with Strawberry Energy team, the SCB is presenting the Mini Strawberry Tree – a solar energy charger which will enable the delegates to re-charge their mobile devices; check the emails as the Strawberry tree serves as a Wi-Fi spot, too; browse the pictures of major venues and hotels in Serbia; solve a puzzle and get some fun after busy schedules – and, simply network under the shade of this unusual tree.

At the UNWTO Global Summit on City Tourism held in Istanbul from 14-16 November, the Strawberry Energy Concept developed by the National Tourism Organization of Serbia was awarded the second runner-up in the category of UNWTO Award for Excellence and Innovation in Tourism. The two Facebook games promote Serbia as an attractive meeting and incentive destination. The Tour de Serbia – adrenalin driven, takes the player through 5 different destinations in Serbia. The other one is Make an Event in Serbia and it represents a logical game in which the player is challenged to organize an event in one of 5 major meeting and incentives destinations in Serbia.
