#ThaiTales Travel Blogger Award launched with Tourism Thailand

World Travel Market, the leading global event for the travel industry, encourages bloggers and writers to come to the 2012 event and engage with WTM exhibitors, to provide joint business opportunities.

A travel blogger contest, called Thailand Reunited #ThaiTales has launched this week to encourage bloggers to visit WTM.

The competition is open to all travel bloggers and writers visiting WTM to share their blogs about:

  • Reasons to visit a place in Thailand
  • A previous Thailand trip
  • Things to do in Thailand
  • Place/s to visit in Thailand
  • A Thai experience, food or festival perhaps, in the UK (if not been to Thailand)

Tourism Thailand are offering the chance for bloggers to WIN an amazing free trip, from the UK to Thailand, in June 2013 called “Discover the other You”. On this trip the winner will experience Thai culture across Thailand including Thai cooking classes, Muay Thai boxing lessons, arts and crafts, Thai spa and massage, a homestay with a Thai family, plus a relaxing 5 night beach holiday. *Terms and Conditions apply

Here’s how bloggers can enter the competition:

1. Travel blogger visits the landing page of Thailand blog to find out how to enter.

2. Travel blogger registers  for WTM and visits the Thailand WTM  AS300 stand in Asia Hall to collect their info pack to help write their story and/or visits the Amazing Thailand website. Their WTM badge number needs to be written at the bottom of their blog entry.

3. Travel blogger submits their blog entry (max 500 words including photos) on the Thailand Reunited Facebook App  before Wednesday 7th November at 4pm.

The winning blog and #ThaiTales Travel Blogger Award will be announced on Thursday 8th November at the Social Travel Market event by Tourism Thailand.
