VICEROY HOTEL GROUP PARTNERS WITH ETIHAD GUEST LOYALTY PROGRAM

Viceroy Hotel Group and Etihad Guest, the loyalty program of Etihad Airways announced a new global partnership.

Etihad Guest members are now able to earn Etihad Guest Miles on their total bill when staying at Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi and Viceroy Maldives.  The entire Viceroy portfolio of hotels will be included in the Etihad Guest portfolio of partners by April 2013.

Starting in April 2013, the joint venture will allow Etihad Guest members to earn one mile per US dollar spent during their stay at any one of Viceroy Hotel Groups global properties from The Maldives to Anguilla. 

Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The Etihad Guest program is proud to partner with many of the world’s top brands and the Viceroy Hotel Group is certainly among this elite group. 

“We are certain this partnership will be popular with our members who will be able to earn Etihad Guest miles whenever they stay at Viceroy properties, including the landmark property on Yas Islandin Abu Dhabi.” 

The Etihad Guest program has more than 1.8 million members in more than 195 countries. Members have the opportunity to earn miles on all Etihad Airways flights and on flights with its frequent flyer partners as well as with an array of non-air partners in the financial, hospitality and retail categories.

There are also more than 6,000 products available to members on the program’s Reward Shop. Members can also convert their miles to make cash payments in more than thirty million retail outlets worldwide with PointsPay – an unmatched loyalty proposition.
