AIME 2013 Awards to celebrate innovation

17 January 2013: Organisers of the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) have announced the judges for this year’s highly coveted AIME Awards, as well as a new award category for ‘Best Innovative Stand’.

The 2013 judges include: Adi Ben-Nesher, Managing Director of Event Skills; Yeoh Siew Hoon, Founder and Editor of Web in Travel; James McGregor, General Manager of A LIST Guide; and Mark Taylor, Director of Belle-Laide Events.

The new ‘Best Innovative Stand’ award takes the number of award categories to seven and will be judged by Adi Ben-Nesher on originality, efficiency and cost effectiveness of the stand design, as well as the impact that any innovation used for the design could have on the industry.

Exhibitors are invited to nominate for the Best Environmentally Sustainable Stand award, Best Innovative Stand award and the Industry Person of the Year award, which will recognise the person who has made the most contribution in terms of best practice and commitment to the industry.

Awards for the Best New Exhibiting Stand, Best Stand under 36sqm and Best Stand over 36sqm do not require nominations and all eligible exhibitors will be judged by the AIME 2013 panel at the show.

AIME will take place from 26-27 February at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
