ConectAR is the name of the new Marketing Plan that ARGENTINA will be presenting at FITUR.

ARGENTINA Presents ConectAR, Its New Marketing Strategy at FITURIt is based on various aspects such as the consolidation of its Country Brand, in which respect Argentina is considered to be one of the 20 most highly valued destinations at an international level; innovation, in which respect Argentina seeks to inspire the traveller with more than 180 rich and intense experiences, including trekking tours over glaciers and night tours of the Iguazú Waterfalls; and expansion via the Internet, thus multiplying Argentina’s promotional presence through the Web.

All of these measures seek to attract some 7.3 million tourists by the year 2016.

\Furthermore, visitors to the fair will be able to gain a closer insight into the endless attractions and destinations available throughout the northern regions of Argentina, which are due to host the staging of the Dakar Rally in 2013, including the Provinces of Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Catamarca, La Rioja and Córdoba. Here travellers will come across a series of veritable tourism treasures, such as the Quebrada de Humahuaca, the Train to the Clouds, the Ruins of Quilmes, and the Jesuit settlements known as the “Estancias Jesuíticas”.
ARGENTINA will also present a number of new features, such as the largest Ice Barin Latin America (located at the Hotel Panamericano Bariloche), the new ‘Circuito Termas de Río Hondo’ Motorbike and Automobile Museum, and various tourist routes that enable visitors to discover the heritage and culture of the largest Jewish community in Latin America.
