Extensive Educational Programme for All Visitors to ATC Global 2013

ATC Global, the principal annual Exhibition, Conference and Award Ceremony for the Air Traffic Management (ATM) Industry, today announced further details of its free-to-attend educational programme that will run alongside all activity taking place from 12-14th March 2013 at Amsterdam RAI.

The free educational programme of workshops and seminars will be led by industry experts and thought-leading organisations from across the air traffic management spectrum.

The workshop programme offers a comprehensive programme of free-to-attend sessions focusing on niche ATM subject areas of particular current importance. The programme will incorporate sessions on industry-wide issues, operational strategies and technical developments.

ATC Global 2013 will run the workshops over three days, key themes will include the challenges and benefits of automating the ATM system, writing ATM and Ground Standards for SESAR Deployment, new technologies and procedures to improve runway safety, Improving controller and operational ATM training and the challenge of developing space-based ATM services. The top-tier global aerospace, defense and information solutions company IIT Exelis will sponsor a session that will examine the provision of safe and immediate air traffic management services in the aftermath of natural disasters and during contingencies.

In addition, a series of seminars hosted by a number of suppliers from the ATM community will take place in the Seminar Theatre on the show floor. A mixture of case studies and best practice discussions will incorporate a number of topics, from integrated Video-Audio-Data recording and playback, Lidar-aided air traffic management to Business Intelligence as a new key to efficiency for ASNP’s and SESAR validation exercises at CDG airport.

Every attendee, whatever their level or responsibility, will benefit from this engaging schedule which features experts from organisations such as EASA, IFATCA, EUROCAE, Snowflake Software, Thales, Azimut JSC and Intersoft Electronics NV.
