Swedish meeting planners meet Poland

On Monday, January 21st “Poland – Move your imagination” meeting took place in Sweden. Poland Convention Bureau together with its partners: Gdansk CVB and Katowice CVB presented their meeting facilities to the planners.

Meeting was held at Clarion Hotel Post in Gothenburg. Event was organised during Meeting Industry Week (Motes Industry Veckan 2013). Guest selection was the most important part of the meeting and it was carried by the event organizer, Meeting International Magazine Editor.

The polish presentation gathered 25 swedish planners: associations, corporates and agencies. After the presentation they are invited for a lunch, where they could talk to polish representatives: Aneta Ksiazek (Poland Convention Bureau), Marta Wisniewska (Gdansk Convention Bureau), Krystian Gryglaszewski (Katowice CVB) and Malgorzata Hudyma – CEO of Stockholm Polish Tourism Organization. Each table was hosted by one organization. Guests had a possibility to meet representatives personally and have a small chat on meetings facilities of each destination. In the end a lucky winner of the lottery received a weekend stay voucher, sponsored by Hotel Gdansk – 4 star hotel located by Gdansk Yacht Marina.

Gdansk Convention Bureau has successfully cooperated with Poland Convention Bureau and took part in few presentations already: Frankfurt, Paris, London and Brussels. More presentations in Europe are planned for 2013.
