The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Dubai Health Authority held several meetings recently to promote Dubai as a leading health destination. As part of the significant role which both DTCM and DHA are playing to boost the medical tourism is by participating in international specialized exhibitions and seminars.
Eyad Abdul Rahman, Executive Director Media Relations and Business Development at the Department of Tourism said:” We are working to promote the Medical Tourism in Dubai, since Dubai has an excellent infrastructure, modern hospitals and clinics and offering a variety of medical to visitors in search of quality health care.
Laila Al Jassmi, CEO-Health Policy & Strategy Sector at Dubai Health Authority said: “DHA and DTCM held frequent meetings to impalement the medical tourism initiatives and achieve the vision of Dubai to build on the core strengths of the emirate, including its current network of advanced healthcare amenities, modern infrastructure and strong credentials in the tourism sector.”
Moreover, she added that the Dubai Health Authority will participate in international exhibitions including ITE Moscow, one of Russia’s biggest and most successful event organizers offering major international trade exhibitions, strategic conferences, and niche technical forums and networking events which will be held from 21-22 March 2013 for conferences, and 20-23 March 2013 for workshops and exhibitions in addition to participating in the International Medical Conference in Monaco organized by Informa Exhibitions from 22-23March 2013. It is a unique professional event that has a main goal of establishing strong distribution networks for medical and wellness.
