Cactus Kitchens gives delegates exclusive access to cook with celebrity chefsCactus Kitchens, the luxury cookery school from the team behind popular foodie TV programmes Saturday Kitchen, Hairy Bikers Food Tour of Britain and The Roux Legacy is now open for corporate events bookings as a new location for incentive and team building events in London.

Launched earlier this year, the school regularly holds experiences hosted by a range of culinary masters including Michel Roux Jr., Monica Galetti, Ken Hom, Clare Smyth, Jose Pizarro and Vivek Singh. Attendees have given glowing testimonials for what they universally describe as a unique and unprecedented experience that they thought money could not buy.

Corporate bookings are taken on an exclusive basis, giving clients sole use of the cookery school. Through their thousands of hours of TV shows, Cactus have unrivalled relationships with the country’s leading chefs. Specific chefs can be requested so that guests can spend quality time with their food heroes.

Based above the Saturday Kitchen studios in London’s Clapham, Cactus Kitchens offers a range of stylish spaces which can be utilised for events including a dining room and green room, as well as the TV studios. Corporate events can be designed on a bespoke basis with additional experiences such as a wine tasting, drinks reception or studio tour and filming also incorporated.

For premium cooking experiences in the school, the optimum numbers are 12 to 18 people at a time to maintain the intimacy, allowing the participants to gain one on one coaching and tips from a well-known TV chef. The complex can accommodate larger groups for demonstrations, wine tastings and meetings.

The kitchens have been designed in partnership with two Michelin Star chef Michel Roux Jr. who has played an integral part in the creative process. The kitchen stations are equipped with top of the range appliances from Miele and Kitchen Aid, with Michel Roux Jr chef’s knives and pans.

Cactus Kitchens also holds ‘The Saturday Kitchen Cooking Experience’ every Saturday under license from the BBC. Attendees tour the studios before taking part in a hands-on cooking session with one of the programme’s celebrity chefs. The gastronomic day continues when participants sit down to taste their creations alongside the TV chef with wine specifically matched to the dish. To top off the experience, guests are invited to take on the infamous ‘Omelette Challenge’ in the Saturday Kitchen studio to see how they fair against their fellow attendees and the famous chefs who tackle it on the weekly live show.

‘The Saturday Kitchen Cooking Experience’ can also be booked exclusively for up to 18 delegates on any day of the week.
