London’s three Jockey Club Venues, Sandown Park, Epsom Downs and Kempton Park Racecourses, have confirmed their racing and live music line-ups for the summer of 2013.

Live music events at all three racecourses, which are part of the Jockey Club Venues portfolio, offer entertainment for avid racegoers and keen music fans, with live horse racing preceding music performances. With projected weather forecasts predicting a more stable summer than 2012’s, footfall is expected to rise once again, and ticket sales are reportedly strong for all events.

Acts performing at Sandown Park Racecourse on several Wednesdays and Thursdays over the summer months will be The Rat Pack Vegas Spectacular Show (23rd May), British rockers Madness (17th July), post Britpop band Travis (24th July) and the universally acclaimed Happy Mondays (31st July).

Epsom Downs Racecourse has revealed that it will host hugely successful female group Bananarama on Thursday 4th July, ex-Spandau Ballet, now solo, artist Tony Hadley (11th July), Mike and the Mechanics (18th July) and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (25th July) as part of their Epsom Live! summer series. Conor Maynard will be entertaining the crowds at Kempton Park Racecourse on Saturday 14th September 2013.

Previous years have seen the likes of Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs and Jessie J perform at the iconic venues, and in 2012, despite a soggy summer, the three racecourses’ collective live music offerings drew impressive crowds of over 73,000 people.

Rupert Trevelyan, regional director of The Jockey Club’s London racecourses said: “Following the success of last year’s live music events at the London racecourses, we’re proud to be able to offer another diverse and exciting line-up for summer 2013. We hope to be able to build on the success of 2012 and we’ve got our fingers crossed for a great British summer to showcase the London racecourses at their best.”

Advance adult tickets from £18.00 per person are available for events at all three venues now. A range of hospitality packages including private box hospitality are also available for each event.
