Reinforcing recent BTI™ figures predicting a growth in economy
London – (30th July 2013) The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) — the voice of the global business travel industry — today announced a number of big name sponsors for the GBTA Europe Conference 2013, being held in Prague, Czech Republic on 23rd-25th September 2013.
Travel management companies Global Star Travel Management, CWT and Radius; hotel groups Wyndham and Accor and airlines British Airways and Turkish Airways are among a growing number of suppliers showing their support for the GBTA Europe conference where more than 400 delegates will enjoy an impressive line-up of educational sessions with high profile speakers; meetings and networking events.
A mix of new and returning sponsors also include technology and distribution companies such as Sabre, Travelport, Amadeus and Get There, Pegasus Solutions, TRX and Cvent. Corporate payment solutions are represented by AirPlus International and Diners Club while ground transportation is represented by car rental company Enterprise.
“The BTI™ Outlook figures, published by GBTA in April, predicted a return of business confidence with growth in business travel spending throughout most of developed Europe in 2013, the number of sponsors supporting the GBTA Europe conference certainly reinforces this upward trend. A 25% increase year on year in delegate registrations, more than 45% of whom are buyers, further supports this forecast. “ said Catherine McGavock, GBTA’s Regional Director for Europe.
