Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport, Art Space of Batycki Factory and Gdansk Business Incubator have been added to the unique venues Poland Convention Bureau catalogue.
“The Catalogue of Unique Venues in Poland”, available on the website of Poland Convention Bureau POT is a response to a distinctive trend in professional meetings business showing, that organisers of the meetings in the search for the most attractive venues for business events and others, are looking for original and unique spots more often.
Conferences, formal banquets and other meetings do not have to take place only in conference halls offered by hotels or conference centres. There are successfully and more willingly organised in the cultural, scientific and other venues.
This year three more venues in Gdansk have joined the Poland Convention Bureau POT catalogue of the unique venues:
Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport in Gdansk Rebiechowo with a conference hall which is located in the prestigious VIP area. The new T2 terminal of the Gdansk airport is not only a modern departure hall, but also a place for business meetings with a conference hall which can hold up to 80 people and has a view of the airstrip.
Gdansk Business Incubator STARTER with its conference facilities, including the magical and unique Alicja’s Room in Poland. Gdansk’s STARTER is an inspirational area attracting business and science representatives and is willingly used to organise conferences, workshops and other business meetings.
Art space of Batycki Factory is located in the old place of a car workshop. The industrial character of the place is ideal for organising formal banquets, dinners, multimedial displays, spectacles, music performances and much more. Batycki Factory is one of the new spots on the Gdansk’s map of venues.
Up till now in “The Catalogue of unique venues in Poland” from Gdansk and its surroundings, the following venues have been added: Centre for Education and Region Promotion in Szymbark, BHP Hall, PGE ARENA, Gdynia Sports&Show Arena, The Gdansk Shipyard Centre, Polish Baltic Philharmonic, The Artus Court (Gdansk History Museum), The “Dar Pomorza” ship of The Polish Maritime Museum in Gdansk and The Malbork Castle Museum.
The presence of the Gdansk venues in the catalogue prepared by Poland Convention Bureau/POT means a greater chance for their promotion among Polish and international organisers of the meetings. Let’s hope that there will be more of unique venues in Gdansk and the Pomeranian region.
