“We recently announced the winners of the US ‘Outstanding Achievement Awards for Sustainability.’ The quality of entries exceeded our expectation and clearly demonstrates that companies in the US are seeing sustainable business travel and meetings programs as a sure way to optimise travel costs and generate a significant return on investment, we hope to replicate this success across Europe.” said Bernard Harrop, Head of Sustainability Project ICARUS.

Catherine McGavock, GBTA’s Regional Director for Europe added “Sustainability continues to gain prominence on every corporate agenda globally. The high calibre of entries in North America and winning entries from Oracle, Enterprise Holdings and Green Hotels Global supports this continuing trend.”
