EIBTM (www.eibtm.com), the global event for the meetings and events industry, has confirmed their Technology and Innovation Knowledge line up and they have a number of speakers confirmed who are set to educate and inspire all attendees.
All EIBTM attendees are invited to visit the Lecture Theatre every day at 13:00 to get their daily dose of technology education at the EIBTM Tech Hour. Julius Solaris, Blogger, Author and Speaker; Event Manager Blog will kick off the first EIBTM Tech Hour with his session, ‘Register Them Like a Pro’ which will take place on Tuesday 19 November.
Solaris commented, ‘Event Registration is one of the most popular technologies with the industry. If you feel confused about what is available on the market and the costs involved, you are not alone. I will share the results of a research of 300 event registration providers and input from 200 event professionals, together with strategic advice on developing effective registration programs.’
Next up, Bo Kruger, Writer, Speaker and Meeting Designer from Moving Minds will deliver his session; ‘Is Technology Taking Over Our Meetings’ on Wednesday 20 November.
Kruger will, controversially, assess the relationship between technology and meetings and the effect it has on participants’ engagement with one another. Kruger’s thought-provoking session will consider when and how technology can be used appropriately to add value to meetings and when it might be best not to use it at all.
The final Tech Hour; ‘The Top Twenty Tech Tools – selected for successful meetings’, delivered by Stefania Conti-Vecchi, Founder and CEO of EVENTagist is set to take place on Thursday 21 November.
Conti-Vecchi will explore and experiment with a selection of the most useful web tools and mobile applications, which will support attendees towards designing more effective meetings. The session will demonstrate the practical application of the ‘tech-toolbox’ in the meeting environment. An emphasis on hands-on activities and the sharing of relevant strategies will be the hallmarks of this tech hour.
As part of the Technology and Innovation Knowledge Programme there will also be a number of Bite-Sized education sessions that will de delivered inside the Innovation Zone at EIBTM this year.
Rosa Garriga Mora, Project Manager, EIBTM’s Innovation Zone commented, “in this exciting area of the show floor visitors will find dozens of dynamic sessions on a wide range of topics around meeting design and the latest industry trends.
