EIBTM 2013After its successful launch last year, the EIBTM Forum (www.eibtm.com), sponsored by Poland Convention Bureau, is set to return to this year’s show, on Monday 18thNovember. Facilitated by Nadine Dereza, the opening session, scheduled to take place from 16:30 – 18:30 in the Fira Montjuic, will set the tone for the three days of business, education and networking ahead.

This year, EIBTM has invited esteemed speaker James Woudhuysen, Professor of Forecasting and Innovation at De Montfort University, Leicester to headline the Forum with his keynote session; ‘A New Perspective on the Meetings Industry’. For more information visit www.eibtm.com/forum

Graeme Barnett, Reed Travel Exhibitions, Senior Exhibition Director, EIBTM commented, “James is renowned for his ability to spot trends and offer counter-intuitive proposals on what to do about them. Occasionally controversial, wonderfully insightful, we hope this opening session of EIBTM will leave you inspired and motivated to do business as we open the show for 2013”.

The EIBTM Forum will also be the platform for the presentation of the second ‘EIBTM Lifetime Achievement Award’, which will be given to a figurehead of the international meetings industry in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the sector.

The Forum will be followed by an exclusive invitation only networking event held at the Rey Juan Carlos, Barcelona. For more information and to register, visit www.eibtm.com/Forum
