Echo Beach Hotel exhibit at The World Travel Market for the first timeEcho Beach Hotel, Zanzibar is exhibiting for the first time at The World Travel Market, Stand AF 180 Excel London, between the 4th and 7th November. Echo Beach is a unique privately owned and managed boutique hotel with 9 luxury Banda’s, with large wet rooms, private verandas and uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. The hotel boasts an on site as restaurant, which has received rave reviews as well as a bar, Dhow Beach Bar, beauty spa and gift shop all at this truly stunning location.

Echo Beach Hotel offers visitors a slice of paradise on the dreamy tropical island of Zanzibar. The very name Zanzibar evokes a sense of mystique and adventure. Sue and Andrew Page, the owners of Echo Beach bought the 5-acre stretch of unspoilt beach and created this beautiful getaway. There are 9 individual villas combining unpretentious African architecture with state of the art technology and interior design.

Sue and Andrew originally hail from England, but prior to designing and building Echo Beach Hotel some 8 years ago they had been successfully running a Chambre d’hote in the Loire Valley for 14 years gaining rave reviews in Alistair Sawday’s Hotel Inns and other Places, Charming Small Hotels, Guide de Routard and the AA Guide to France, to mention a few. This trend has continued with Echo Beach Hotel being awarded one of the top 25 Hotels in Tanzania, and the top 25 for service by Tripadvisor. Andrew is a French Trained Chef and has cooked for British Prime Ministers and celebrities while Sue concentrates on Interior Design.  The restaurant offers a true taste of Zanzibar with a wealth of fresh food, including fish bought daily from local fisherman alongside Zanzibarian and International dishes and the menu is changed daily.

Echo Beach Hotel has ‘Beach Villas’ in unspoilt surroundings, which are constructed from local stone, capped with Makati roofs. The Bedrooms are individual designed and decorated with fine silks, locally commissioned furniture, and handpicked antiques. All of the villas have stunning bathrooms with Italian tiles and Samuel Heath showers and taps for the ‘wet room’ experience. Each Banda has a spacious private veranda where guests can enjoy a drink in the shade and laze on Zanzibar day beds gazing at the ocean views.

Zanzibar is a haven where you can create some lasting memories, take in a Spice Tour, visit Stone Town and Prison Island, Joazani Forest, or enjoy snorkelling and diving in one of the most beautiful locations on the planet, or choose to just relax and unwind at our beauty spa.
