From now until Jan. 5, 2014, visitors at Sands® Cotai Central can immerse themselves in a holiday fantasyland withMerry Madagascar with the DreamWorks Gang.
Sands Cotai Central has decked the halls with splendid holiday decorations, including ornate Christmas trees and stupendous floral arrangements, and the resident characters of the DreamWorks Experience at Cotai Strip Resorts are decked out in their best holiday regalia at Paradise Gardens, the daily All-Star Parade, and at entertaining activities and interactive game booths for children. For rumbly tummies looking for traditional holiday fare and a memorable time spent with family over a meal, finger-licking Christmas buffet feasts are available Dec. 25 and 26.
Christmas Feast with the DreamWorks Gang
A mouth-watering Christmas feast with the entire gang of DreamWorks Animation characters is available Christmas Day and Boxing Day at Sands Cotai Central’s Urumqi ballroom. The international buffet features a delicious Christmas menu with Asian and Western delicacies, including a selection of roasted Christmas turkey with traditional condiments, Christmas Stollen fruit cake and Christmas pudding, pineapple glazed whole bone ham, baked lobster Thermidor, oysters Kilpatrick, fresh sushi and sashimi and assorted live seafood, plus hip-shaking stage performances by DreamWorks characters in Christmas attire.
Kids will also receive a special gift – a cuddly 10-inch DreamWorks character plush toy valued at MOP 148. The delectable lunch buffet is available Dec. 25 and 26 from noon to 3 p.m., priced at MOP 466* for adults and MOP 238* for children (aged 6-12). A family package for two adults and two children is priced at MOP 1,250*. The buffet dinner will be served Dec. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. and is priced at MOP 488* for adults and MOP 250* for children. Merry Madagascar with the DreamWorks Gang at Sands Cotai Central
For the Christmas season, the popular characters from the DreamWorks Experience at Cotai Strip Resorts have gone all out to not only add a Christmas flavour to their daily activities, but they have also added game booths and other entertaining activities, offering visitors a joyous festive journey. From now until Jan. 5, 2014 at Sands Cotai Central, visitors and guests can revel in a DreamWorks fantasy Christmas land, replete with stunning décor; DreamWorks characters dressed up for Christmas; a special daily holiday All-Star Parade of favourite DreamWorks characters; a Shrekfast Christmas breakfast buffet with a special dance number created especially for the holiday season; and a Christmas-themed Meet and Greet at Paradise Gardens with characters from “Madagascar,” “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Shrek” and “Kung Fu Panda.”
At the interactive Christmas game booths, visitors will have the opportunity to engage in a number of exciting activities and take home their very own Christmas creations. At the “Madagascar” booth, they can spread glitter on sand-art penguins; visitors can have fun decorating gingerbread men with frosting at the “Shrek” booth; kids can enjoy completing a 50-piece puzzle at the “Kung Fu Panda” game booth; and at the “How to Train Your Dragon” game booth, visitors can play a game of ring toss for a chance at winning a souvenir. The DreamWorks game booths are open daily from noon to 7 p.m. with free admission.
Ice World with the DreamWorks Gang
In addition to the fabulous DreamWorks experiences available at Sands Cotai Central this holiday season, guests will not want to miss the Ice World with the DreamWorks Gang exhibition right next to the integrated resort’s doorsteps at The Venetian® Macao’s Cotai Expo. Visitors will have a chance to experience a magical winter land journey at a chilly minus 8 degrees Celsius through seven different zones featuring famous Macao landmarks and favourite DreamWorks characters such as Shrek, Princess Fiona, Alex and the gang from “Madagascar,” and Po from “Kung Fu Panda,” each carved into ice. Ice World with the DreamWorks Gang also features the debut of the two newest characters to join the DreamWorks Experience at Cotai Strip Resorts: Tigress from “Kung Fu Panda” and Belt from “The Croods.”
