The Palais des Festivals and Congresses is happy to announce the renewal of the contract with Reed Exhibitions, organizer of the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), an exhibition dedicated to the luxury journey global community. This new agreement confirms the holding of the event for five consecutive years in Cannes until 2018 and consolidates the know-how of the destination.
By this partnership, Cannes demonstrates its capacity to perpetuate and develop loyalty of major events maintaining the dynamics of the tourist activity of the city. The teams of the Palais des Festivals and Congresses, the local professionals and the event planners keep solid and reliable relations, giving evidence of the predisposition of each to adapt to all the requirements.

The peculiarities of the city (a unique frame, high-performance equipments, high-end accommodations, complete catering offers), conjugated with a modernized and up-to standard Palais des Festivals and Congresses, make of Cannes a component of successfully hosted events” specifies David Lisnard, President of the Palais des Festivals and Congresses.
Since 2002, year of the creation of the trade show, ILTM did never stop growing. Originally, Cannes welcomed 900 visitors on 2 650 m2. In 2013, 3 000 participants came together in an exhibition space of 18 000 m2 ! It is now considered as the BtoB event of reference worldwide, attracting the major international decision-makers of luxury tourism. This development conjugated to the take-over of the exhibition by Reed Exhibitions, allowed to develop new ILTM exhibitions all over the world : ILTM Asia, ILTM Africa, ILTM Japan, ILTM Americas and ILTM SPA.
Beyond the fact that it is good news for the local business tourism, this signature also stands out for twelve years of presence in Cannes. This exhibition knew how to benefit from the aura and recognition of the brand Cannes.
The renewal of this partnership is an important act for Cannes that in spite of the explosion of competitive offers, continues its strategy of prospecting new events and developing customer loyalty with recurring customers.
The next edition of ILTM is expected at the Palais des Festivals and Congresses of Cannes from December 2nd to 4th, 2014.
