Central Hall WestminsterFirst financial quarter was the best for over five years

Central Hall Westminster, central London’s largest purpose built conference centre, today announces their best quarter for over five years, with revenue up over 30% compared to the same period in 2012/13.

These figures cover the period September to November 2013, the first financial quarter for the venue and mark the end of a year that had seen a number of high profile events, including tech conference Le Web, the Chinese International Film Festival, London Fashion Week, University Graduations and Gary Barlow’s New Year’s Eve concert that was broadcast live by the BBC.

Paul Southern, Managing Director at Central Hall Westminster, commented: “2013 was an extremely busy year for us at Central Hall, so it is great to see this reflected in the Q1 results. It is a great start to our financial year and we have yet more planned for the remainder of 2014 and are set to welcome many new and exciting events here. Watch this space!”

In 2013 Central Hall Westminster became the first London based conference venue to produce a specialist B2B mobile site and launched the Meet The Future campaign, designed to explore event technologies and encourage planners to take a proactive step in embracing emerging technology. The first event of the campaign, to be held on 20th February 2014, will lay the foundations for the discussion by focusing on where event technology is today, with a roundtable discussion dedicated to Wi-Fi.  To be involved in the online discussions, delegates are asked to register their attendance here – www.c-h-w.com/webinar/.
