Dubai, 23 Feb 2014: The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM), one of the world’s leading hospitality business management schools and a part of the global luxury hotel company Jumeirah Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with award-winning CMH – International Hospitality Management School (CMH), based in Paris, France.
The MOU agreement establishes a new academic exchange programme between EAHM and CMH. The new partner university was established over 40 years ago and is also an associated member of The European Council on Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Education (EuroCHRIE). The agreement offers students an abundance of study abroad opportunities, enables faculty exchanges, academic cooperation and programmes for the development of hoteliers in the international market.
A group of Masters students from CMH had the opportunity to visit EAHM in January during their tour through the United Arab Emirates. The students visited the campus facilities, attended a presentation about the career opportunities in Dubai, in addition to a guided tour at the world’s most luxurious hotel, Burj Al Arab.
Mr Ron Hilvert, Managing Director of EAHM, said: “We look forward to welcoming the next group of CMH students and faculty to Dubai and are assured that this partnership between our accredited universities will provide the CMH students with greater exposure to the international hotel industry.”
Véronique Sournies from the International Relations department at CMH said: “It will be such a great opportunity for our students.”
