eibtm2014Enhanced features will optimise the user’s experience and increase communication with all attendees

EIBTM (www.eibtm.com), the leading global event for the meeting and events industry, announced today that its new 2014 website has been redesigned to further optimise the user’s experience and increase communication with all attendees.

Last year eibtm.com received over 1.56 million web page views and with the new platform and optimised SEO, this is expected to increase even further, adding even more value to EIBTM exhibitors listed in the online directory.

With the new format and design, users can now navigate the site more efficiently.  This change is aimed at making the content for visitors easy to access and to gather all up to date information about this year’s show as early as possible, in order to plan their visit and benefit from being ‘in the know’.

The new features have also been created to enhance the communication between attendees and the EIBTM Team before, during and after the show, by including a ‘Join the Network’ section, enabling all to keep up to date with the latest news and developments of the show and participants.

The enhanced features include the following:

  • Show Planner Login: The show planner tool allows all attendees, after signing up and logging in at www.eibtm.com, to organise their days ahead of time and to ensure that they make the most out of their visit
  • News & Social: Attendees can keep up-to-date with EIBTM press releases, announcements and social media updates from Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube – and share updates to personal social networks
  • Event Programme: Nearer to the time a full programme of complimentary EIBTM Knowledge sessions and Networking events for all attendees will be available
  • Barcelona Guide: Providing quick links to local restaurants and top attractions

“It is essential for us to optimise the user’s experience and to accommodate their needs as well as to have a continuous flow of communication with all of our exhibitors, visitors and partners. These new features are just the beginning of our website developments. We will be seeing further add-ons within the next few months including even more Spanish information for visitors,” said Graeme Barnett, Senior Exhibition Director, EIBTM.
