Royal College of Physicians launches delegate picnic package to celebrate 50th anniversaryThe Royal College of Physicians (RCP) this week announces the launch of a new  50 for 50 Picnic Package as part of a series of initiatives to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the RCP’s award-winning building overlooking Regent’s Park in London.

The new DDR package will allow delegates to embrace the great British summer time with an individual picnic hamper, packed with contents of their choice to enjoy with access to the venue’s own private medicinal garden.  The RCP is also fortunate to be opposite one of the greatest free Royal parks in London – Regent’s Park, where it is also possible to take the picnic. The offer will run from 14th July until 31st August and will also include the hire of one of the venue’s tiered auditoria or a meeting space with three refreshment breaks throughout the day, standard AV equipment, free Wi-Fi and cloakroom facilities along with the use of a picnic rug for the park or garden.

RCP’s Sales and Marketing Manager Natacha Allen says: “The 50th anniversary is a great reason for us to showcase the fact that we are surrounded by some stunning green spaces. Daytime meetings and conferences often don’t give summer delegates the chance to get some much needed fresh air. We’re delighted to be offering something a bit different to our delegates this summer to make the most of the fine weather. Our barbeque packages have always proved very popular so it’s great to be offering use of the outdoor spaces available for daytime conferences and meetings.”
