Frank Püttmann will take over as Head of the Politics Department in TUI AG’s Corporate Affairs team from 1 July.
The 45-year-old will leave Deutsche Lufthansa AG, where his last position was Director Lufthansa Group Communications Asia-Pacific, based in Singapore. Püttmann had been in charge of the Lufthansa Group’s external relations in the Asia-Pacific region since 2008.
He had previously been Head of Corporate Communications North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf, one of the Lufthansa Group’s key inner-German markets. Prior to joining Lufthansa, Püttmann was Director Public Relations at the Bertelsmann Foundation. He will take over Wolf Dieter Zumpfort’s role, who retired in the spring of 2013 after a long and successful career at the TUI Group. Püttmann reports to Thomas Ellerbeck, in charge of Politics, International Relations, Group Communications, CR and Sustainable Development as well as Trademarks, Patents and Licenses in TUI AG’s Management Board.
Alongisde Frank Püttmann, Oliver Pellarin represents TUI’s political interests as Senior Manager Public Policy and International Relations. The 35-year-old has been a member of the Corporate Affairs team at TUI AG’s head office in Hanover since the spring.
He previously worked as a research associate in the office of Otto Fricke, MP (member of the German Bundestag), the former Parliamentary Chairman and Spokesperson on Budgetary Affairs of the FDP parliamentary group in the German Parliament. Pellarin previously worked as consultant for the international communication consultancy CNC AG.
