10 interactive zones celebrating classic movie scenes showcasing thousands of toys and collectibles through the ages
Macao – To celebrate the 30-year anniversary of the global Transformers phenomenon, The Venetian®Macao hosted the opening ceremony of the Transformers 30th Anniversary Expo Saturday at Cotai Expo Hall F, with officiating guests including Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of the Macau Government Tourist Office; Gunther Hatt, Executive Vice President of Operations, Sands China Ltd.; Vicky Au, Managing Director of FM Event; Josephine Lau, Vice President of Logistics & Sales Administration of Hasbro Hong Kong Ltd.; Hong Kong actor Eric Tsang, Taiwanese boy band Lollipop@F and Hong Kong band Super Girls in attendance.
Co-organized by The Venetian Macao and FM Event, the Transformers 30th Anniversary Expo has received support from the Macau Government Tourist Office. The exhibition showcases over a thousand Transformers toys and fan collectibles from different eras as well as multiple giant Transformers statues. The one-of-a-kind expo also features the world debut of two-metre-high 3-D Transformers holograms, allowing visitors to experience the feeling of being next to a Transformer on their native world of Cybertron.
Celebrities viewing the exhibition Saturday also included Chin Siu Ho, Candy Lo, Chan Ka Po, Wong Man Yik, Lee Lok Sze, Virginia Lok, Leung Siu Bing, Chan Ka Fai, Wong Yin Chi, Lee Yee Man, Evergreen Mak, Lo Fun, Tyson Chak, Kellyjackie, Loretta Chow and Lawrence Chou.

Divided into 10 interactive zones, the exhibition allows visitors to experience the exciting world of Transformers up close. The expo is also home to a theatre showing a series of Transformers movies. A variety of Transformers merchandise including world limited-edition items are available for purchase exclusively at the expo, as well as branded almond cookie and cookie gift boxes for the first time – launched as part of a joint venture by Yeng Kee Bakery Macau and Transformers.
The Transformers 30th Anniversary Expo will be open to public from June 1 to Oct. 5, 2014. Visitors can purchase tickets through Cotai Ticketing™ or at the entrance to the exhibition hall. Tickets are priced at MOP/HKD 100 each for adults and MOP/HKD 80 for children aged 2-12. Tour groups, schools, student ID holders, Sands Rewards Club members, and hotel guests (including those with accommodation or family packages) can enjoy additional discounts on Transformers 30th Anniversary Expo tickets.
