The Barbican presents the best performers and artists all year round. It’s a place where people always perform at their best and The Barbican Business Events team intends to live up to this during its three days at The Meetings Show 2014.

“The Barbican is a world leading cultural venue, well used to creating performances across the arts. Our core message is to ensure that the meetings and events industry understand that we also deliver outstanding performances for our commercial clients,” said Jackie Boughton, the Barbican’s Head of Sales for Business Events. “I exhibited at last year’s Meetings Show whilst working for another organisation and know how well it can deliver in terms of buyer quality. To maximise on this for 2014 we are taking our presence right into the hosted buyer lounge, where we can ensure our brand is at the forefront of their minds.”

The Barbican will be exhibiting as part of The London & Partners stand at The Meetings Show, where they will be highlighting:
· The Barbican’s arts and commercial offering
· Hospitality packages available for exhibitions such as The Fashion World of Jean PaulGaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk (until 25 August, 2014)and Digital Revolution (until 14 September)
· Online booking capabilities
· A new commission offering for bookers

The Meetings Show, event director, Steve Knight: “We are delighted that such a high profile venue has decided to showcase its offering throughout the hosted buyer lounge as well as on their stand. It offers an unique opportunity to meet the buyers and expose their brand outside of the pre-scheduled meetings. The Barbican has supported the show since it launched and we hope the 2014 event is a big success for them.”
