Industry insiders, consumers and stakeholders in the regional travel sectors are being urged to cast their ballots ahead of the deadline for votes at the World Travel Awards Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony 2014.

The ceremony will take place at The Oberoi, New Delhi, in India, on October 10th, with voting scheduled to close on July 20th.

World Travel Awards saw its annual Grand Tour launch successfully in Dubai in May, with Gala Ceremonies scheduled for Athens, Greece, Quito, Ecuador and Abuja, Nigeria, before the organisation lands in New Delhi in October.

A final regional Gala Ceremony will take place on the sunshine island of Anguilla, before Morocco welcomes World Travel Awards to Marrakech for the Grand Final 2014.

The New Delhi red-carpet ceremony will welcome industry leaders from across the region, offering the finest in local entertainment, a gourmet banquet and, of course, the presentation of the prestigious trophies.

Ahead of the event World Travel Awards President Graham Cooke said: “Preparations for the next stops on our annual Grand Tour are well underway and we are looking forward to our time in New Delhi, India, later this year. With just two weeks to go until voting for the Asia & Australia Gala Ceremony closes now is the time to make your voice heard.
