Goodbye China, hello Frankfurt

Ulrike_EllmannsmThe international branch VOK DAMS China is closely associated with the name Ulrike Ellmann, who was in charge of the two offices in China for eight years, and who managed them from Beijing.
At the 10-year anniversary of VOK DAMS China, Ulrike Ellmann can look back onto a most successful time, in which the subsidiary developed into one of the leading agencies in the market.

Ellmann’s recipe for success is founded not just on her strong commitment but also on her leadership philosophy of appreciation. She made sure to always address her teams at both sites in Beijing and Shanghai personally. In internal trainings programs time was taken for regular feedback as appreciation can only be conveyed properly in personal conversation. As a result of this philosophy, Ulrike Ellmann could rely on a motivated team that realized various successful projects.

Now Ulrike Ellmann returns back to Germany with her family. From September on she will be in charge of the business unit VOK DAMS Services and bring in all her experience and competence here. VOK DAMS Services encompasses the sections guest management, implant, graphics design, media and show production, sponsorship and cooperation as well as sports marketing.

“I am very much looking forward to the new challenge, even if I leave China with mixed feelings, as I have grown very attached to this country. I am convinced that together with the team at VOK DAMS Services I can further expand the success of this business unit.”, Ulrike Ellmann sums up the upcoming change.
