Twickenham Experience today announces the launch of a bespoke ‘Around the World’ interactive corporate team build incentive as it approaches one year to go before the Rugby World Cup 2015.
Using a bespoke app developed by team building partner Wildgoose Events, the incentive will involve a series of interactive challenges and questions using a tablet-based quiz and GPS location technology.
Participants will be challenged to activate various ‘hot spots’ around the stadium, each representing one of the 20 World Cup participating nations. With tasks such as an interactive Haka challenge at the New Zealand hotspot, the games will incorporate rugby themed challenges in order to engage participants with the spirit and history of the venue as well as implementing the RFU values of teamwork, sportsmanship, enjoyment, discipline and respect. Twickenham’s team building packages are designed to support the communications objectives of clients’ events at the venue, leveraging the RFU values and aligning these to the values and goals of the event organisers to assist with maximum event ROO (return on objectives).
Leading delegates through many of the indoor event spaces within the stadium, the incentive is specially designed to be suitable for the Autumn and Winter seasons.
Head of Conference and Event Sales Samme Allen says: “As the home of England Rugby we strive to keep our delegates active, so the new package was developed as a weather-friendly corporate team building option. We also wanted to be able to engage our delegates with the true sporting spirit of Twickenham and help to instil our RFU values as we endeavour to do in every event held here. Being able to offer something bespoke and in keeping with the forthcoming World Cup has been invaluable.”
Peter Barker, Operations Director for Wildgoose Events says: “We are delighted to be launching this innovative indoor event with Twickenham Experience which will provide delegates with a unique event in this iconic venue. By working together we have been able to create a really engaging ‘all-weather’ team activity that not only reflects the uniqueness of the venue but embraces technology that is now at the forefront of team events.”
