Aviation Week MRO Europe will bring together 280 companies and over 6,000 professionals from 7 to 9 October

Madrid – FERIA DE MADRID is the setting for the largest commercial meeting of the aviation maintenance industry: Aviation Week MRO Europe, which will bring together over 6,000 professionals from around the globe from 7 – 9 October in Madrid. The event has an exhibition area in Hall 4 of IFEMA, which on 8 and 9 October will host 280 international companies, and a conference, which takes place in the south auditorium from 7 October and where experts will debate the key issues and challenges for the industry.

At MRO Europe the leading suppliers of solutions and services for the aviation maintenance industry will be showcasing the very latest products in the marketplace and the most advanced technology for improving efficiency and reducing operating costs.

Meanwhile, the MRO Europe Conference, which will take place at the same time, has an extensive programme ranging from success stories to proven best practice, and studies aimed at responding to the new challenges facing the aviation maintenance industry. Airlines, maintenance companies, equipment suppliers and manufacturers, regulators and experts from the aviation industry will be sharing their know-how and experiences with the aim of exploring and defining the key issues affecting the MRO industry.

The conference will focus on the key issues affecting the aviation maintenance business in Europe and near-term trends, and look at developments in specific fields and industries.

In addition, the programme will include specialist content in the areas of advanced components and materials, engineering and maintenance, finance and leasing, propulsion, the supply chain and logistics and technology. Themes include new generation aircraft repair, the redefinition of the maintenance market, the growing importance of the surplus parts market, predictive maintenance and forecasting tools, cloud-based documentation management for mixed fleets and the impact on the market over the coming years of a new generation of engines.
