Short event #codes and event infographics launched

Audience interaction specialist sli.do has surpassed 1000 events run in its live Q&A and polling system, marking the occasion with a redesign of the product’s user interface and the launch of two new features: ‘event codes’ to further simplify access with a hashtag and event infographics that allow organisers to share the best content from their events.

Since forming in 2012, sli.do has worked with a range of high-profile clients including Google, KPMG and Tesco, with Google for Entrepreneurs Startup Grind London recently running the 1000th event through the system. sli.do CEO Peter Komornik comments: “We have had a very busy couple of years here at sli.do so it’s great to reach the 1000 events milestone. We’ve created a product that is effective at any size event and the uptake has been brilliant.”

The sli.do platform has been redeveloped in response to feedback from delegates and organisers, seeing an overhaul of the administration page as well as the development of Event Codes, a simple way to find and access an event with a short, memorable hashtag. Administrators are now able to create a unique event code that will be used by delegates to access live Q&As, polls and social media content from any connected device. In addition, sli.do has introduced auto-generated infographics designed to visually display the best event content and stimulate further conversations.

Peter Komornik continues: “It’s important for sli.do to continue to develop with the changing needs of our clients and we encourage feedback at every step to ensure this is happening. With Codes and event infographics we are making it even easier for delegates to connect and interact with content, helping to overcome the lack of engagement that has been discussed in the industry recently.”
