imago has appointed Helen Lowrie as Business Development Manager (Agencies) as the organisation focuses on growth in the agency market.

Helen previously held venue finding and management roles with agencies including Ashfield Meetings and Events (formerly Universal World Events) and Zibrant, working with many different clients in the utilities, pharmaceuticals and automotives sectors.

In her role with imago, which is based in Loughborough, Helen’s focus will be on the agency market which is constantly growing as corporate clients turn to agencies for the management of their meeting and events requirements.

“imago has achieved much success over the years and I was drawn to the organisation’s friendly yet professional approach to the events industry,” comments Helen. “My experience working with both clients and venues will serve me well as we look to build on imago’s continued success.”

Emma Boynton, Head of Sales and Marketing at imago, said: “The whole imago team has worked hard to achieve the success we’ve had, and Helen’s experience in the events industry will only serve to strengthen our strategy going forward. The agency market is growing all the time and we’re looking forward to using Helen’s experience which will allow us to take advantage of these new opportunities.”
