Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hotel company and member of Dubai Holding, has partnered with the popular reality TV game show ‘The Amazing Race China.’
Hosted by Allan Wu, a Singapore-based Chinese-American actor, the show was filmed from 18 – 22 October 2014 at various locations at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah and Mina A’Salam. The celebrity contestants from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan stayed at Mina A’Salam at Madinat Jumeirah for four days.
They included Chen Xiao Chun, Zheng Yi Jian, Liu Chang, Jin Da Chuan, Zhong Han Liang, Zhong Xiu Ping, Zhang Tie Lin, Zhang Yue Liang, LI Xiao Peng, LI An Qi, Chen Yi Ru and Zhou Wei Tong.
In the episode, the contestants travelled around the hotels and the city to carry out a series of challenges and tasks. The Amazing Race China consistently ranks among the most-watched Friday night prime-time programmes in China and is anticipated to become the number one reality show in 2014.
