A string of eminent international meetings industry figures are to form the faculty for the CONVENE Professional Development Academy and the subsequent two day programme which forms an integral part of CONVENE taking place in Vilnius 11-12 February.
The Academy programme has been crafted to focus only on effective sales and marketing strategies and tactics with industry overviews being provided by Rob Davidson from UK, and Marcel Vissers from Belgium who will deliver an over view of the European international association sector.
Paul Kennedy MBE will provide insights into key account management techniques and sector specialists will deliver tailored workshops about penetrating the Polish, German and Scandinavian markets. Sarah Fleming from the UK will deliver practical advice about how to win international association business. The academy will also see Patrick Delaney one of the world’s leading industry figures deliver his keynote about using networking techniques to boost business success and Linda Pereira one of the world’s top 100 professional conference organisers providing direct and practical advice about delivering great site inspections.
During the two show days the education programme will include Thomas Bangert speaking about the effectiveness of Trip Advisor, Fiona Pelham about creating events which are both profitable and sustainable and a session about meeting design delivered by Julien Carlier from France.
