(12th January 2015 – Dubai) Bench Events have once again organised The Global Restaurant Investment Forum (GRIF), unveiling an innovative programme including a high calibre and entertaining speaker line-up.

This exclusive conference is focused on restaurant investment, and will be taking place in Dubai between the 16th to 18th February.

The organizers of GRIF, Bench Events’ are specialists in the hotel investment industry and GRIF has grown out of requests from their hotel industry clients for an annual event that showcases the hottest restaurant concepts from Dubai and globally. Through the help of a dedicated advisory board, GRIF seeks to deliver an annual event that provides industry insights for investors as well as providing the “how-to” educational content for those looking to expand their brands internationally.

This year, GRIF will be the business conference of the world acclaimed Dubai Food Festival 2015. Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of Bench Events, stated “GRIF provides a unique platform which brings together key stakeholders in the restaurant investment community together in one place to share best practice, innovation, knowledge and address current issues that face the sector.”

Three Michelin Starred Chef Heinz Beck, who is a key speaker at the event, mentions that the hospitality industry “is a fast growing industry and promises great investment potential. At every step, the Restaurateur must provide investors with support throughout the whole investment life cycle”.

The GRIF programme has been built on four key pillars as determined by the event Advisory Board -creating successful concepts, generating growth through franchising, internationalizing your business and innovation and inspiration to improve your existing operations and all conference sessions aspire to address the key issues within these topics. GRIF also hopes to inspire delegates through the addition of the Innovation Den – a collection of short snappy presentations that display the freshest innovations in hospitality from those paving the way. This includes a presentation from TV chef and entrepreneur John Quilter AKA The Food Busker who will demonstrate how digital media has become the most exciting and cost effective way to test your concept; and Catalin Cighi, Managing Partner of Cain Hospitality Innovation who will highlight some of the game changing innovations that have been successfully implemented throughout the GCC.

The three day conference also brings life to the real estate aspects of hospitality by kicking off with a tour around Dubai giving conference delegates the opportunity to view available real estate in the local market as well as gaging what’s happening locally from a culinary standpoint.
