RIBA Venues today announces it has won the contract to host the Guardian University Awards for 2015.

The awards, organised by Guardian News and Media, give UK universities the opportunity to highlight their achievements to that vast and growing global community and showcase best practice, achievement and innovation across a range of categories. Honouring excellence in everything from teaching practice to inspiring facilities, the awards act as a sector benchmark and offer universities a seal of approval for their most outstanding work.

The event, taking place 18th March 2015, is expected to attract over 220 people to the venue’s Florence Hall where guests will be treated to food stalls pre and post the awards offering meat, fish, cheese and dessert.

Guardian News and Media’s Event Organiser Hannah Saxby says of choosing RIBA Venues to host the event: “RIBA is a beautiful venue that is very on brand with the Guardian and the University Awards.”
RIBA Venues’ Head of Venues, Stephanie Ellrott, adds: “The Guardian University Awards is a great event recognising excellence among the UK’s universities and we are excited to be working with organisers to put on a successful event.
