Destinations, tourism products and travel tech services from around the world have confirmed their presence at WTM Latin America 2015, which will take place between 22 and 24 April in Sao Paulo at Expo Centre Norte, alongside the 43rd Braztoa Business Meeting.
With 10% more floor space compared to 2014, the third edition of the international event that last year generated US$341 million of business is looking to be the biggest and best yet.
The increased floor space will host five sectors: Brazil, Latin America, the World, Braztoa and Global Village which will include a more prominent area for Travel Tech this year.
Gathered in the Global Village, many multinational exhibitors have guaranteed their presence at the fair, such as new exhibitor B-Around, the Portuguese online tour company.
Other tour operator’s such as Delta Tours and Travel that have offices throughout the United States and Canada, and Vanilla Tours, a leading global supplier of accommodation, which operates in the business-to-business market (B2B) will both be exhibiting for the first time.
Indian Flip Care Meditours, working in partnership with the Asian Medical Tourism Industry will be exhibiting for the first time to promote health and wellness tourism, which was a particularly popular sector at WTM in London last year.
Among the new Brazilian exhibitors that will be in the Global Village, highlighting their offers and hotel reservations will be the Web Business Company that develops technology for the hospitality industry, such as online booking systems for hotel websites, travel agencies and tour operators, as well as monitoring social networks, among other services.
The Brazilian company mentioned above are also an example of the many technology companies that will be attending WTM Latin America 2015 including TravelClick, QuadLabs Technologies, Mystifly, Illusions Online and Wooba. The Travel Tech section of the exhibition floor has been expanded to meet the demand and showcase the new products that are available.
TravelTek, the British company which provides technology solutions to travel companies worldwide through the Internet, and Portuguese White Tower, a provider of personalized communication projects will join as new travel tech exhibitors for 2015.
Lawrence Reinisch, Exhibition Director, WTM Latin America commented: “This significant number of exhibitors focused on travel technology is a reflection of our commitment to this niche market, encouragement has begun in the last edition of WTM Latin America, when we brought the Travel Tech Zone, a space that will be even greater at the fair this year. We are very pleased to see tourism and technology work well together for the benefit of the market and the consumer.”
