The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has been selected as the venue for the annual FreeFrom Food Awards on Wednesday 22nd April.

Returning to the Regent’s Park venue for the third year running, the event will recognise excellence in the production of allergen-free food products, with companies such as Sainsbury’s, Holland and Barrett and Tesco set to attend amongst other nominees. Presentations will be given by FreeFrom Food Awards Patron, Anthony Worrall Thompson.

Using the venue’s Osler Room, the event will comprise an awards ceremony and canapé reception created by the RCP’s award-winning chef Dean Robinson.

RCP Sales and Marketing Manager Natacha Allen says: “We are delighted to be hosting such a high calibre event for the third year running. Needless to say, allergy awareness is now high on everyone’s agenda, so we’re really interested to hear the results.”

Director of Foods Matters Michelle Berriedale-Johnson says: “Our events at the RCP have always been a great success. It is a fabulous location and a wonderful building. Even better, the RCP staff have always been immensely helpful and totally un-phased by our somewhat unusual requirements!”
