Caravan spectacular sets up camp at Brisbane Showgrounds

For more than three decades Queenslanders’ have been flocking to the Brisbane Showgrounds for the popular Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow, which opens today.

More than 70,000 people are expected to visit the show over the next seven days, which has been held at the showgrounds for 37 consecutive years.

Lovers of the great outdoors will be in heaven with more than 300 exhibitors on grounds showcasing the latest and greatest in caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, slide-ons and camping accessories.

Brisbane Showgrounds General Manager Venue Sales and Marketing Sally Pulford said it was fantastic the long running event was being held at the showgrounds for the 37th year in a row.

“The RNA has a long association with the Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow, it’s one of the most iconic events held at our historic showgrounds precinct,” she said.

“It’s an event Queenslanders love and it’s a testament to our venue and staff that ithas been held here for almost 40 years.”

The Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow ends next Tuesday 9 July.

The 22 hectare Brisbane Showgrounds precinct is located just 1..5km from Brisbane’s CBD and is Queensland’s largest indoor / outdoor events site.
