CONVENE is set to take place from 10 to 11 February 2016 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Strengthening its partnership with the Baltic meetings industry, tmf dialogue marketing, has come on board for the second year in a row to assist CONVENE in communicating effectively with the meetings market in Europe.

Veitshöchheim, 3 August 2015 – The CONVENE is an annual B2B two-day event for the meetings industry of the Baltic countries, launched by the Vilnius Convention Bureau. Around 100 exhibitors present their meeting products and services, for example convention bureaus, hotels, conference centres, special venues, DMCs, PCOs, specialist suppliers from Lithuania as well as other countries of the region. The event is supported by a major professional education programme and a series of high quality business networking events.

tmf dialogue marketing will be assisting CONVENE to communicate effectively with the meetings market in Europe. For the second year in a row, tmf’s Johanna Fischer will be showcasing her expertise in meetings PR and new communication, through a series of informative sessions. Every year, CONVENE offers a fully hosted buyer programme which accommodates more than 160 qualified buyers from across Europe. tmf dialogue marketing will take a Hosted Buyers Group to CONVENE 2016 with the aim of familiarizing the European market with the MICE capabilities of the Baltic Sea Region. At CONVENE 2015, Johanna Fischer, gave an overview on the German outbound meetings market and insights about using digital content in B2B Communication.

CONVENE 2015 garnered immense acclaim and witnessed 157 hosted buyers from 29 countries and more than 3500 appointments by VIP visitors from Lithuania. Almost 600 visitors participated in the professional education programme in which 21 sessions were offered. Furthermore, CONVENE 2015 registered more exhibitors than the years before with Denmark, Ukraine and Slovakia participating for the first time and the exhibitors comprising of 11 different countries.
