Increased session attendance with standing room only for majority of sessions
Analysis conducted following ibtm china (www.cibtm.com), part of ibtm events, has revealed that the Knowledge Programme which took place at the China National Convention Centre (CNCC) in Beijing last month, was the best attended to date.
Cici Chen, ibtm china Event Manager commented, “We are extremely pleased with the attendance at this year’s Knowledge Programme in China. Furthermore, in-depth analysis and research has confirmed that primary reasons for increased attendance were the sessions’ relevance to participant’s needs and the reputation of the presenters delivering the sessions. These findings confirm that as an event we are delivering a programme that is truly meeting the needs of the industry in China.”
A new initiative this year saw the introduction of seven ibtm events knowledge themes (www.ibtmevents.com/en/ibtm-knowledge), which helped drive increased participation with the following sessions proving the most popular:
From Idea To Fact: An ASAE Case Study For Planning An International Conference
The Big Data Marketing Of High-End Thematic Travel
Views Of The Future -Ten Trends In The MICE Industry
Communication – Create Win-Win Results For MICE Procurement (The New Trends For MICE In The Internet Era), which saw standing room only available for a number of attendees.
