30 November – 3 December 2015

ILTM – the pinnacle of the luxury travel year and the final event of 2015 in the ILTM Portfolio – will take place in Cannes, 30 November – 3 December. This year’s ILTM Global Forum will bring storytelling to the centre of the stage, highlighting its relevance to both luxury travel brands and agents as they convey their stories to their diverse high net worth clients.

Alison Gilmore, Senior Exhibition Director, ILTM Portfolio comments:
“ILTM is a week which will see thousands of stories created for would be luxury travellers around the world. At this year’s Global Forum, we challenge you to consider ILTM as the opening chapter of these stories, learn the art before you start the week and even create a few of your own to share.’

CHAPTER ONE: Where are we going?

The scene will be set by Claire Bennett Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, American Express Consumer Travel.

Claire will draw on her strategic role at AMEX to talk through the luxury of tomorrow. She will focus on three key trends and what that means for the luxury travel industry. Claire will highlight the need to “breakthrough” in order to deliver what customers have come to expect from brands.

CHAPTER TWO: How do we persuade you?

Claiming that “Traditional marketing doesn’t work anymore”, Thomas Trautmann, Partner, Sales Brain will debate the question – is there a buy button in the brain? SalesBrain is the first neuromarketing agency with a scientific persuasion model that helps companies capture, convince and close more customers.

Thomas will explore the topic of behavioural economics and how we should use stimulus to provide the response we want. He will also focus on some luxury brands to identify if we can learn about the actual behaviour that is taking place.

CHAPTER 3: Inspiring action through story telling

Renown international screenwriting lecturer, Robert McKee will conclude by advising the luxury travel audience how to tell their story to generate action. Believing that ‘the story’ is an evolutionary adaption for the human mind, he will illustrate his keynote with real-life successes and end with a vision of business leaders as authors of the world’s economic future.

McKee has dedicated the last 30 years to educating and mentoring screenwriters, novelists, playwrights, poets, documentary makers, producers, and directors internationally. His former students include over 60 Academy Award Winners, 200 Emmy Award Winners, 100 Writers Guild of America Winners and 50 Directors Guild of America Winners.
