Following a hugely successful summer for English cricket, Lord’s is looking forward to hosting Sri Lanka and Pakistan in 2016. The Home of Cricket has released a series of onsite hospitality packages that will allow guests to enjoy fine dining and impeccable service throughout the day, as well as the chance to mingle with former international cricketers and much more.

The first match will take place between 9th and 13th June and will be the no-doubt exciting finale of the three Investec Test Series against Sri Lanka. Following this, Lord’s will play host to the first Investec Test against Pakistan, their first match on British soil since 2010, between 14th and 18th July. The final international match hosted at Lord’s next summer will be the second Royal London One-Day International between England and Pakistan -the only match in the series to be held in London.

Cricket aficionados attending the Home of Cricket next summer will be able to choose from three different packages, each including a top category ticket – starting at £329pp + VAT. Hospitality guests will be hosted by former international cricketers as they enjoy breakfast, a Champagne reception, lunch and traditional afternoon tea.

For this season, the in-house executive chef team have created bespoke menus featuring the “Best of British”, embodying Lord’s reputation as a fine dining destination. Dishes include Citrus Poached Barn Chicken, Roast Fillet of Oxfordshire Beef, Canon of Oxfordshire Lamb, and a selection of decadent desserts.

Nick Kenton, Head of Sales at Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), which owns Lord’s, said:  “2015 saw a fantastic uptake in the hospitality offerings at Lord’s, and a renewed appetite for hosting clients and guests at sporting fixtures. This year, as ever, we are offering luxurious packages and unparalleled service at one of the world’s most iconic sports grounds. I am hopeful we can continue the success of the Ashes year, and everyone is looking forward to welcoming clients both old and new to the Home of Cricket in 2016.”
